Phoenix

September 2025 · 1 min of stillness

In my dream I was a bird chased by other creations.

Was running to save my life, forgetting I’m a bird,

letting them to check my patience.

The night was full, and the moon was too looking at this chaos.

Suddenly, I heard gun shot, which crossed my heart

and in fractions there was blood appearance.

I felt alive but I knew I was dead.

With my eyes open, I saw them walking with no regrets, ahead.

My tears fell down, but I was no more, and the sun

rised, my body got ignited into ashes.

Again I woke up with a pumping heart, my wings wide apart,

I realized it was my soul that I misread!

I hitted the sky, screaming loudly and welcoming my wings.

Not sure whether it was the new life or pocked heart

that I was embracing.

I went to the shore and saw myself, I found something missing,

the way of my vision.

I realised, life never stops, it keeps the constant pacing.

The world is not even worthy of your single tear!

This was said by ocean to me, when I dribbed nd stared.

This life is a dream allured by many, endured by few.

And with troubled eyes, wounded heart and fired soul,

to live life… I again dared!
